Terms of Use

1. What this service is
Review Assay (the "Service") measures specific signals in shopping review text and displays the
result along with the reasoning behind it.
This Service does not determine whether a review is genuine or fake.
Scores and verdicts shown are indicators for reference only. They are not findings of fact
that a particular review was manipulated or that a particular seller engaged in misconduct.
Where the evidence is insufficient, the Service returns "inconclusive" rather than forcing a verdict.
2. Your responsibilities
- You must not use results from this Service to defame or damage the reputation of any individual,
seller, or business.
- You are responsible for any dispute arising from presenting these results as established fact.
- You must not call the Service in bulk automatically, or reverse-engineer it for other purposes.
3. Disclaimer
The Service is provided as-is. The operator makes no warranty as to the accuracy or completeness of
results, and to the extent permitted by law is not liable for direct or indirect damages arising from
use of the Service.
The shopping platforms analyzed have no affiliation with the operator. Their trademarks belong to
their respective owners.
4. Contributions
Contributions are entirely voluntary and are not a condition of using the Service.
Whether you contribute has no effect on any verdict.
- Contributions fund server costs and engine improvements.
- A contribution is a gift with nothing given in return — it guarantees no feature, benefit, or priority.
- Payment is processed by PayPal and Ko-fi; each provider's terms and refund policy apply.
The operator does not collect or store payment information.
- Refunds for change of mind are generally not possible, but for accidental payments please contact
[email protected].
5. Advertising
The Service may display advertising to cover operating costs. Advertising is shown clearly separated
from the analysis area, and advertisers have no involvement in any verdict. The operator
is not responsible for the content of external sites reached through advertising.
6. Changes and discontinuation
The operator may change or discontinue the Service. No compensation is provided for changes to or
discontinuation of a service offered free of charge.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Disputes relating to use of the
Service will be resolved in the court having jurisdiction under the Korean Civil Procedure Act.
8. Revisions
If these terms are revised, the changes and their effective date will be posted on this page.
Continued use after revision constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
